Talk It Through
Music Planning Sessions
For musicians who feel stuck, scattered, blocked, or not clear what happens next
Sometimes you don’t need another course, another plugin, or another six months of “thinking about it.”
Sometimes you need to sit down with someone who understands music and sort out:
- what’s stuck
- what you’re actually trying to make
- what matters next
- and how to get moving again without turning your life into a content farm
That’s what a Talk It Through Session is for.

Music Planning Session: 90 Minutes for £90
If you’re not clear what you’re doing next with your music, you’re not alone
Maybe you’ve got half-finished tracks sitting on a hard drive.
Maybe you’ve drifted from making music and can’t quite work out how to come back.
Maybe you’ve got ideas, but they’re all over the place.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed by admin, doubt, other people’s opinions, or all the things you think you should be doing.
Maybe you just need to think out loud with someone who actually gets it.
This session gives you space to do exactly that — and come away with something more useful than vague encouragement.
We’ll work out what’s going on, what’s getting in the way, and what the next sensible step is.
No grand transformation.
No “build your artist empire in 90 days.”
Just practical clarity and a bit of momentum.
I wholeheartedly recommend Felix to anyone looking to expand their horizons and/or get back on track. Thank you Felix, it was an absolute pleasure working with you.

WHAT WE CAN WORK ON
A Music Planning Session can help you with things like:
- getting an EP or project moving
- sorting out half-finished songs
- getting back into music after a long gap
- working out what to finish first
- getting clearer on your sound or direction
- making a realistic release plan
- preparing for recording
- deciding what matters and what can wait
- getting out of your own way a bit
- stopping the endless circling and actually making a start
It’s a practical musician-to-musician session, not a lecture and not a therapy hour.
“I started working with Felix at a pretty difficult time. I had lost touch with the joy of creating, and my composition sessions were frustrating and often cut short. Working with her helped me reconnect with my love of music. Making music is fun again.”
— Quentin L

— Wild
How it works
1. You book a time
Pick a slot from the diary.
2. You answer a few questions beforehand
That way we can get straight to the point and not waste time circling round the same thing for half the session.
3. We meet on Google Meet
You don’t have to have your camera on if you don’t want to.
“The calls with you were especially good as you have a knack of very quickly honing in on anything that was a hurdle — technical, musical, or mental/workflow related — and helping me get over it. The result is I made more music, progressed quicker and developed musically more than I would have done on my own.”
— Tim C
4. We work out what’s actually going on
We’ll look at where you’re stuck, what you’re trying to do, what’s realistic, and what the next useful steps are.
5. You leave with more clarity and a plan
Not an enormous life overhaul.
Just something clear enough to actually do.

Why work with me?
Because I know what it’s like from the inside.
I’m an electronic music producer, sound artist, performer, sound engineer and studio owner based in London. I’ve gigged, released music, had tracks used in films and documentaries, worked with lots of independent artists, and spent years building a life in and around music.
I also know what it’s like to get stuck.
To be busy with music all day and somehow make none of your own.
To overthink everything.
To care deeply and still not get in the room.
To feel blocked, behind, unclear, or just sick of going round in circles.
So this work isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about helping you get clear, get straight on what matters, and get moving again.
PERSONAL SECTION
Why I offer these sessions
Because I’ve been there.
On paper, I had all the right ingredients: I was working in music, gigging, getting radio plays, having work used in films and documentaries. And yet there was a stretch where I just… stopped making my own work.
Not because I didn’t care.
Not because I’d run out of ideas.
Just life, pressure, overthinking, doubt — the usual lot.
What changed things for me was not more pressure.
It was getting back into a regular relationship with making music — small actions, a bit of structure, and remembering why I started in the first place.
That’s the spirit these sessions come from.
Not “fix yourself.”
Just get straight, get going, and make some music.
FAQ
Do I need to be an established musician?
No.
But this is best suited to people who already have some relationship with music and want help moving forward.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
No.
Is this for complete beginners?
Usually not.
It’s mainly for people who’ve started, stalled, drifted, or got a bit lost in the middle of things.
Will you tell me exactly what to do with my life?
Absolutely not.
But I can help you get clearer on what to do next with your music.
Is this about social media strategy?
Only if that’s genuinely part of the problem.
This is mainly about the music and the project itself.
